So, Let's start.... Any cloth is made from a yarn or fibre. That fibre in turn made of smaller micro-fibre. Some of the photons of light are absorbed but some are reflected and land on our retina and that gives us the sensation of seeing the cloth as having a certain level of brightness.  But when the cloth gets wet the water fills in the gaps between each individual microfiber or yarn. When light falls on the wet cloth, some of it is now more likely to enter the water and be bent away from our eyes. So, some of the light that would have previously been reflected off the cloth back to our eyes is now bent away.  A  tsunami is a deadly series of seismic sea waves Ocean: ocean waves triggered primarily by the movement of ocean floor during strong earthquake.  Volcanic eruption in or near the ocean may also cause tsunamis. Tsunami generally cause major damage to coastlines and can cause death.

 The worst Tsunami in history of occurred after a  9.0 earthquake of the Northwest coast of Sumatra, Indonesia on December 26, 2004.  The resulting Oceanwide  Tsunami stock Thailand, Malaysia,Sri Lanka, India, the Maldives and Africa. Nearly a quarter million people died as a result.

 A  tidal wave is an Ocean wave of unusual strength caused by the same tidal force that create the daily tidal Eve and flow. One such wave appears annually at  China's Hangzhou Bay.
