Meaning of Central/Junction/Terminus written after the names of some stations in Railway.

I hope you all will be fine and enjoying.You all might have wondered why some station have Central/Junction/Terminus at the end of their names?Today in this post we wil learn what it actually means in Railway as shown in following images:-

1.TERMINUS STATIONS:-

When the track or rout ends,a station is known as terminus/terminal.Terminus Stations are those station where train arrives or leaves in same direction as it has entered.

2.ROAD STATIONS:-

These Station are named so because they are situated near a major road connecting a major city.These stations are not situated in the City/town.The line passes through the out-skirts or nearby of the main town/city.

3.CENTRAL STATIONS:-

The Central station means that it is the busiest and most important station in the city.It is usually very large,has multiple stations and deals with a large number of arrivals and departure.Such station may be the oldest,so they are called central.

4.HALT STATIONS:-

They are very small station situated near a village.There are very few passengers.These station have no loop line and most trains do not stop at halts.

5.JUNCTION STATIONS:-

In these stations,trains can arrive or depart in more than two direction.If atleast 3 routs are passing from station,then the station is called junction.It means that the trains that come into the station must have at least two outgoing train lines.

रेलवे मे सेंट्रल / जंक्शन / टर्मिनस का अर्थ।

हैलो दोस्तों,

मुझे आशा है कि आप सभी ठीक होंगे और आनंद ले रहे होंगे। आप सभी सोच रहे होंगे कि स्टेशन के नाम के अंत में कुछ सेंट्रल / जंक्शन / टर्मिनस क्यों लिखा गया होता हैं? आज इस पोस्ट में हम सीखते हैं कि रेलवे में वास्तव में इसका क्या अर्थ

1.टर्मिनस स्टेशन (TERMINUS STATIONS):-है।

जब ट्रैक या रूट समाप्त हो जाता है, तो एक स्टेशन को टर्मिनस / टर्मिनल के नाम से जाना जाता है। टरमिनस स्टेशन वे स्टेशन होते हैं, जहाँ ट्रेन आती है और उसी दिशा में जाती है जैसे उसमें प्रवेश किया हो।

2.रोड स्टेशन (ROAD STAITONS):-

इन स्टेशन का नाम इसलिए रखा गया है क्योंकि वे एक प्रमुख शहर को जोड़ने वाली एक प्रमुख सड़क के पास स्थित होता हैं। ये स्टेशन शहर /मुख्य शहर में स्थित नहीं हैं। यह लाएन बाहरी शहर या मुख्य शहर के पास से होकर गुजरती है।

3.सेंट्रल स्टेशन(CENTRAL STATIONS): -

सेंट्रल स्टेशन का मतलब है कि यह शहर का सबसे व्यस्त और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण स्टेशन होता है। यह आमतौर पर बहुत बड़ा होता है, इसमें कई स्टेशन होते हैं और बड़ी संख्या में आगमन और प्रस्थान होते हैं। स्टेशन सबसे पुराना हो सकता है, इसलिए उन्हें केंद्रीय कहा जाता है।

4. हल्ट स्टेशन(HALT STATIONS): -

ये बहुत छोटे स्टेशन हैं जो एक गाँव के पास स्थित होति हैं।यहा बहुत कम यात्री होते हैं। इस स्टेशन के पास कोई लूप लाइन नहीं होता है और अधिकांश ट्रेनें यहा रुकती नहीं हैं।

5. जंक्शन स्टेशन(JUNCTION STATIONS): -

इन स्टेशनों में, ट्रेनें दो से अधिक दिशाओं में आ सकती हैं या प्रस्थान कर सकती हैं। यदि स्टेशन से कम से कम 3 मार्ग गुजर रहे हैं, तो स्टेशन को जंक्शन कहा जाता है। इसका मतलब है कि स्टेशन पर आने वाली ट्रेनों में कम से कम दो निवर्तमान ट्रेन लाइनें होनी चाहिए।
